ISU vs. Nebraska Matchups Meyer and crew vs. the Blackshirts
This is going to be a fun matchup to watch. In many ways I wish I could watch this a football fan, not a Cyclone fan because it will be an interesting matchup to see how it plays out. I could create an argument for this to swing very favorablly and also very unfavorably for our Cyclones. ISU vs. Toledo Keys to Victory

Continuing The ISU Toledo Matchup Analysis
ISU's defense be may, "gasp", underrated. Now before you think I have been drinking too much leftover "koolaid" from Saturday, the ISU defense still has a ways to go and is not yet top division Big 12, but it isn't bad anymore either. Basketball Commit Justin Hamilton
Iowa State receive a commitment from Justin Hamilton a 6' 10"senior from Lone Peak Utah. Here is the kicker, he was playing football, not basketball until he grew to his present height during his sophomore year. Last year he then played mostly JV, but had a huge summer prompting him to be called by some one of the top big 10 men in the West. You never know how guys will develop, but he likes contact under the basket and has played such little ball that he likely has a big upside. A true diamo

ISU vs. Toledo Matchups
Maybe it is the halo of the victory this weekend, but it didn't seem like it was time today already to being the anaysis of the matchups for Saturday. I am started this week with a look at the Cyclone offense vs. the Toledo defense. Why I Love This Coaching Staff
While I probably should have gotten this up prior to the win Saturday. I finally got my thoughts together and posted in the football group discussion that has been on my mind for awhile. Special Teams will Iowa or ISU have the advantage?
Iowa and Iowa State both have their strengths and weakness, but in the final assessment, it is ISU's that will need to step up their performance. In what may be an overlooked swing to the outcome of the game Saturday field position will be strongly impacted by the special teams.

2 Deep Changes
A few changes can be found on Iowa State's latest two-deep. Sophomore Christopher Lyle, a 248-pound transfer from Butler (Kansas) Community College, is the new No. 2 weakside defensive end behind Rashawn Parker.
