The game was really fun! I ate way too much junk. My heart sank during the "comedy of errors." I got to see Chris after the game, so it was definitely worth the 8-hour drive. Did you go to the game or watch the Webcast?
HANDS UP: Chris Lyle is a backup defensive end. Saturday, he stepped into a starring role on special teams. The sophomore and junior college transfer blocked a 33-yard field-goal try by Iowa's Austin Signor with 7 minutes, 33 seconds to go, a huge play considering the final score.
"I was through the line, so I knew I had a chance," said Lyle. "So I just threw my hand up as high as I could."
I thought Chris had some nice moments at the game last week. While we all wanted to see a different outcome I saw some good things from Chris and am excited to have him here for 3 years
