The Golden Flash of Kent State are getting respect in the preseason. Picked to finish second to Frank Solich's Ohio team, the Flash should provide a solid first game for the Chizik era.

"Ohio was picked to repeat in the East, receiving 15 first-place votes and 216 points, while Kent State was a close second with 13 top choices and 203 points."

I would hope that we still can really roll over them it would be nice to have a nonconf win with that isn't close.

Good point, It always seemed that even with our best teams it was a rare occassion to see us really throttle someone. While I think Kent State will be solid competition and shouldn't provide the opportunity for 49-3 type game, I really hope we see a clear victory 35-10 or something would feel good for me. That said I'll be happy to get the Chizik era started with a win and will go home happy with 14-13 victory.
