This is where defensive coordinators earn their pay and make their reputations. Texas Tech presents the most productive offense in the country, yet I think their are reasons for optimism as ISU squares off in Lubbock. Read the matchup analysis and let me know your comments.

I don't like losing anymore than the next guy and am not interested in moral victories, but I do like this team. I like the intensity. I like our physical play. I like our attitude. We need to eliminate a lot of mistakes, special teams and turnovers, but there is a lot to like about this team. I am excited for the future, frustrated by losing, but like our team

This is going to be a fun matchup to watch. In many ways I wish I could watch this a football fan, not a Cyclone fan because it will be an interesting matchup to see how it plays out. I could create an argument for this to swing very favorablly and also very unfavorably for our Cyclones. I didn't expect going in to this season, to write many matchup stories where ISU's was expected to fare well. The turn around the Bolt has done on our defense has been very impressive.
